bet u wanna levitate (Dua Lipa x Sabrina Carpenter)

I don’t really have much to say about this one. I created it on July 15th, 2023, and uploaded it on August 22nd (Dua Lipa’s birthday). This was one of two Dua Lipa mashups that I uploaded on her birthday, the other one being a mashup of her song “Love Again” and Europe’s “The Final Countdown.” It was terrible. I deleted it.

I once again used Moises to adjust BPMs, and adjusting the volume between both songs was tricky, as the acapella track for Sabrina Carpenter’s “bet u wanna” wasn’t perfectly clean; it was kind of echo-y. However, I prevailed and made yet another successful mashup that I am absolutely proud of! I especially love the climax of this mashup, when the final choruses of both songs are played simultaneously. The beat of “Levitating” cuts off, and Carpenter’s vocals return right before the beat returns. It’s kind of perfect.
